Business of the Year
In February each year, the community is asked to vote online for the Business of the Year. There are three areas of consideration, and the recognized business can be nominated for one, two, or all three of these recognition categories: Innovation, Community Service and Employee Satisfaction.
The winning businesses for each category will be the three nominees for Business of the Year. The highest total vote count will be named the overall Business of the Year at the Greendale Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet.
2025 Winner:
Business of the Year Waterstone bank
WaterStone Bank has long demonstrated a deep and ongoing commitment to the communities it serves, making a meaningful impact through both financial support and hands-on volunteerism.
In Greendale, WaterStone Bank proudly supports beloved community traditions such as Dickens of a Village and the Fourth of July parade. Their commitment extends to organizations like the Greendale Entertainment Association, where they sponsor the volunteer lunch for events including the GEA Resale and Pet Palooza.
Their community involvement reaches across the region, supporting initiatives such as the Greenfield Band, Greenfield Parks and Recreation, and Trimborn Farm. The bank also invests in the future by providing scholarships to students at both Greendale and Greenfield High Schools.
Beyond financial contributions, WaterStone Bank employees dedicate their time and energy to causes that matter. Team members regularly volunteer with organizations such as Hunger Task Force, Milwaukee Diaper Mission, The Salvation Army, and The Hope Center—demonstrating a culture rooted in service.
As an organization, WaterStone Bank places a strong emphasis on supporting veterans and emergency service professionals—including police, fire, and medical personnel—as well as initiatives focused on women, children, and education.
Through its generous contributions, dedicated volunteerism, and unwavering commitment to community well-being, WaterStone Bank exemplifies what it means to lead with purpose. It is for these reasons that they are proudly recognized as both the Community Engagement Award Winner and Business of the Year.

Innovation Winner: Konstantakis Law office
In April 2024, the Greendale Chamber of Commerce hosted a professional learning session on creating Reels, which Georgia Konstantakis attended and actively engaged in.
She then applied what she learned to develop an innovative campaign aimed at making the client experience at her law office feel more approachable and less intimidating.
Konstantakis Law Offices introduced audiences to Jack, their office dog, by sharing a “Day in the Life” Reel that highlights his calming presence for clients. Building on this idea, the team expanded their content to include skits inspired by popular TV series like Suits, as well as additional “Day in the Life” videos that showcase the human side of their legal team. Georgia also uses the platform to create short, engaging videos that encourage viewers to pursue estate planning or seek compensation for personal injury, often incorporating brief stories from past cases.
By leveraging social media to engage clients, demystify the legal process, and help ease anxiety in what can often be stressful situations, Konstantakis Law Offices exemplifies innovation—making them a deserving recipient of the Innovation Award.
