Greendale’s Birthday

Description

“Village Days” was renamed to “Greendale’s Birthday in 2020 but it remains a long-standing tradition of the community.

Organizer

The Greendale Lions Club plans and runs the entire event. The Village provides support services such as portable bathrooms, traffic flow, garbage removal, etc.

Event Activities

 Live Music

Bands booked by the Lions President are scheduled to play at the downtown gazebo. The schedule is posted on the Lions website.

Food & Beer Tents

Tents are erected along Broad street and are staffed by Lions Club members. All proceeds are donated back to the community.

Rummage on the Green 

Greendale’s largest rummage sale runs until 3pm in Daffidol Park. Residents donate their gently used articles for resale in the tents by Lions Club volunteers and proceeds are donated back to Greendale.
